Quotes and scheduling
Prices published on this site are starting prices for the scope described. A binding quote is issued in writing after the site and deliverable are confirmed. Bookings are held once the quote is accepted in writing.
Weather and safety cancellations
Flights are cancelled or rescheduled at no charge when weather, airspace restrictions, or on-site conditions make the operation unsafe or make the deliverable unachievable. The pilot in command has final authority on that decision.
Client cancellations
Cancellations more than 48 hours before the scheduled flight carry no fee. Cancellations inside 48 hours are billed at 50 percent of the quoted amount to cover the reserved crew day.
Licensing of deliverables
On payment in full, the client receives a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use the deliverables for any lawful business purpose. Drone Works, LLC retains the right to display the work in its own portfolio unless the engagement is covered by a signed non-disclosure agreement.
Regulatory compliance
All flights are conducted under 14 CFR Part 107 by a certificated remote pilot. Where an operation requires an airspace authorization or waiver, work does not begin until that authorization is in hand. Clients are responsible for granting or arranging site and property access.
Limitation of liability
Liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the amount paid for that engagement, except where prohibited by law. Coverage requirements specific to a site or production are addressed in the engagement agreement for that project.
